Coatings of these alloys are used in a wide variety of industrial applications to provide enhanced wear and corrosion resistance. A post-coat fusing treatment forms fully densified coatings that are virtually free of porosity and metallurgically bonded to the substrate.

MSSA 050M

50 Rc

MSSA 050M is a self fluxing Nickel-Chrome, Boron-Silicon powder which can be fused with the oxy-acetylene torch to produce dense pore-free, hard, grindable coatings. It will resist wear by abrasive grains, hard surfaces and particle erosion. Nickel, Chrome, Boron, Silicon
MSSA N60 CM
  • Room temperature HRC 59
  • 600°F (315°C) HRC 57
  • 800°F (425°F) HRC 54
  • 1000°F (540°C) HRC 49 1
  • 200°F (650°C) HRC 4
This nickel base alloy powder is designed for two step spray and fuse metal surfacing applications requiring an extra thick coating having a high hardness of Rockwell C 55 to 60. 060CM is selected where maximum corrosion resistance, particularly specific resistance to hydrochloric and sulphuric acids and high elevated temperature oxidation resistance is required.

Nickel, Chrome, Boron, Silicon, Molybdenum

MSSA N60 - 2

60 - 62 Rc

Mogul N60-2 is a self fluxing Nickel-Chrome Boron-Silicon powder which can be fused with the oxy-acetylene torch to produce dense pore-free, hard, grindable coatings. It will resist wear by abrasive grains, hard surfaces and particle erosion.

Nickel, Chrome, Boron, Silicon

MSSA 72 - M - 40

33 - 40 Rc

MSSA 72-M-40 is a self fluxing nickel alloy powder which gives relatively soft coatings with extremely good wetting qualities. Because of its extremely low carbon content, it is often used as an underlay before putting high carbon coatings on steel.

Nickel, Chrome, Boron, Silicon

MSSA 1036C

Matrix Fused RC 60 - 62 Tungsten Carbide Particles RC 75

This nickel base alloy powder containing tungsten carbide is designed for spray and fuse metal surfacing applications requiring thick, high hardness and abrasive resistant coatings at temperatures up to 550°C.

Nickel, Chrome, Boron, Silicon, Tungsten

MSSA 1260

60 - 62 Rc

MSSA 1260 is a self fluxing Nickel-Chrome Boron-Silicon powder which can be fused with the oxy-acetylene torch to produce dense pore-free, hard, grindable coatings. It will resist wear by abrasive grains, hard surfaces and particle erosion.

Nickel, Chrome, Boron, Silicon
