Arc Spraying Equipment
The Arcspray process, sometimes referred to as "twin wire arc spraying", uses two wires, which are melted by an electric arc. The molten material is atomised by compressed air and propelled towards the substrate to be coated. Metal Spray Supplies offers a wide range of arc spray equipment to meet the individual needs of all our customers.
The Metallisation range of electric Arc Spray equipment includes:
- Manual and automatic metalspray systems
- Pull, Push, Push/Pull electric drive systems
- Patented designed systems with low and high throughputs to meet exacting requirements
- Various metal spray coating textures and spray patterns available as desired
Each Arc Spray product has been simply and robustly constructed, and all equipment can use solid and cored Thermalspray wires.
Metallisation Arc Spray 140/250 metal spray system
The Metallisation Arc 140E is an affordable medium capacity, lightweight Arc Spray system for the engineering and anti-corrosive sector.
The flexible drive system means there is no motor in the pistol, and a unique constant geometry (CG) head ensures constant wire alignment giving exceptional coating quality. The system can be supplied with pull or push pull arrangement and supplies packages that can be up to 20m in length from the wire dispenser.
The system can be used with the full range of arc extension nozzles, spray concentrator (Arc beam) and Purecoat as well as the Metallisation range of Energizers 250-450Amp. Furthermore the Arc Spray 140 pistol can be robot mounted for automation purposes.
