Aluminium Bronze
Welding, Brazing and soldering techniques can be used to join repair and overlay copper based alloys, Aluminium bronze A2 is the most versatile in this family of alloys.
Available in arc electrodes, mig & tig wires. Aluminium bronze is used to weld non- ferrous and combinations of dissimilar metals including some cast iron. Typical applications for Aluminium Bronze include:
- Bearing surfaces
- Joining and fabricating Copper alloys
- Overlaying with Aluminium bronze to resist corrosion and erosion
- General maintenance and repair
Copper de oxidised
Copper de-oxidized is used for copper fabrication, repair of copper castings. Typical applications include
- Electrode holders for Steel Mills
- Copper connectors
- Conductor rolls
Silicon Bronze
Silicone bronze is used to fabricate silicon bronzes, copper alloys and some iron based metals. Silicon bronze provides good corrosion properties.
