MSSA Co-6

MSSA Co-6 is a cobalt base alloy recommended for hard-facing parts subject to impact, corrosion and oxidation at high temperatures. It also displays good resistance to abrasion and friction (especially galling and seizing).

Always finish with carbide tools and  grinding. Especially used for maintaining cutting edges under heat. Applications include engine valves, pump shafts and sleeves, hot dies, extrusion screws, continuous casting rolls.

MSSA 1031-C (35%WC)

MSSA 1031C is a nickel based powder which is essentially the same composition as N60-1P except for the addition of Tungsten Carbide. This powder provides excellent weldability on flat and contoured surfaces and produces coatings with a hardness of RC 60 - 64 with the addition of the Wc.  Coatings are exceptionally wear resistant against abrasive grains. Finishing by grinding with diamond wheel.
