N45–1P |
MSSA N45-1 is a hard surfacing alloy with bi and tri-metallic hard phases for maximum wear resistance. and good corrosion resistance. It has a nominal hardness of 45-48 RC. |
Excellent grindability. However, it can be machined with care and good tool geometry. |
Originally produced in Europe for Rebuilding Automotive Valve Faces and Camshaft Lobes, MSSA 45-1 is also used for Gear Teeth, Seal Rings etc. |
N50-1P | MSSA N50-1P offers high build up capability, good impact and abrasion resistance and a nominal hardness of 50-52 RC. Excellent machinability. Suggested for use where precision finish is required. Excellent corrosion resistance. |
Non machinable Finish surface by grinding | Repair and build up of Worn Moulds and other parts in the Glass Manufacturing Industry, also for Valves, Bearings, Splines, Seal Rings, Valve Gates, Sprockets, Gear Teeth, Automotive Camshaft Lobes, Engine Valves. |
N60-1P | MSSA N60-1P is a nickel based metal hard surfacing powder and has a nominal hardness of RC 60 - 64. It has excellent abrasion resistance, high hardness, corrosion resistance and excellent weldability. |
Non machinable finish surface by grinding. |
Pusher Rods |
MSSA Co-6 |
MSSA Co-6 is a cobalt base alloy recommended for hard-facing parts subject to impact, corrosion and oxidation at high temperatures. It also displays good resistance to abrasion and friction (especially galling and seizing). |
Always finish with carbide tools and grinding. | Especially used for maintaining cutting edges under heat. Applications include engine valves, pump shafts and sleeves, hot dies, extrusion screws, continuous casting rolls. |
MSSA 1031-C (35%WC) |
MSSA 1031C is a nickel based powder which is essentially the same composition as N60-1P except for the addition of Tungsten Carbide. This powder provides excellent weldability on flat and contoured surfaces and produces coatings with a hardness of RC 60 - 64 with the addition of the Wc. Coatings are exceptionally wear resistant against abrasive grains. | Finishing by grinding with diamond wheel. |
Tillage Tools |
MSSA 751 SF (50% WC) |
MSSA 751SF is a nickel based powder which is essentially the same composition as N60-1P except for the addition of Tungsten Carbide. This powder provides excellent weldability on flat and contoured surfaces and produces coatings with a hardness of RC 60 - 64 with the addition of the Wc. Coatings are exceptionally wear resistant against abrasive grains. |
