The MSSA Air Blast Cooler is used to cool the work piece during and after Metal Spraying.
By cooling the work-piece, overheating which may cause coating failure is prevented. It may also be used to remove dust from the work piece during spraying.
During its operation a small amount of compressed air is used by the cooler to draw surrounding atmospheric air through the cooler throat, resulting in a strong air blast. A supply of filtered, dry compressed air is required for the air blast cooler. The compressed air consumption ranges between 6 to 12 cfm.
